Rights, obligations and responsibilities of the employees

The rights, obligations and responsibilities arising from employment relationship are regulated by the Employment Relationship Act, Chapter 3, aimed at protecting the employee, being the weaker contracting party.

The Employment relationship Act only defines the minimum rights and standards, which is why they must be specified in further detail in each individual employment contract as well as individual collective agreements.

The primary rights, obligations and responsibilities, arising from the employment contract, are the following:

  • apprenticeship
  • probationary period
  • for work
  • working hours
  • night shifts
  • breaks and rest periods
  • annual leave
  • types of absence from work
  • education and training
  • disciplinary accountability and damage liability

Our services comprise:

  • Counselling and technical implementation of the systemic exercising of the above-stated rights, obligations and responsibilities arising from employment relationship, in line with the business policy and the human resources management policy.
  • Counselling in adopting decisions on individual rights, obligations and responsibilities of the employees.
