WrITe Skills
European Union is confronting a problem of increasing demand for skills set by economy of knowledge on one side and an increasing number of people with inadequate literacy on the other. The goal of the project is to overcome the problem of inadequate literacy to help people succeed on the labor market.
Using holistic approach we are going to develop learning tools – generic software – to develop trainees’ literacy and numeracy skills while facilitating the acquisition ICT proficiency. Software will then be made available to appropriate national institutions and other organizations.
Focus group of this project is the people with lower levels of functional and numerical literacy and limited knowledge in information technology.
Project will take place from October 2005 to September 2007.
