Duration: 2 years (October 2008 – October 2010)
Aim:
To transfer VPL (Validation of Prior Learning) model with intention to assess previously gained skills and knowledge of job seekers over 40 years of age.
To place job seekers in the companies where they can gain new knowledge and skills.
To create a competence profile for each job seeker.
To encourage higher employability of job seekers over 40.
Objectives:
To achieve the motivation and interest from the participants (job seekers) about their secret potentials which can help them enter (again) on the labour market.
Increased productivity of the individual as a consequence of awareness and validation of individual’s skills, no matter what his/hers formal qualifications are.
Development of the culture in the companies which tend to avoid employing people older then 40.
Achieving an stable system of competence validation on the institutional level.
Foreseen activities:
Training of the trainers, done by the Dutch partner, aiming to train the partners who will later train the tutors, assessors and supervisors.
Involving the tutors, assessors and supervisors in the companies.
Placing the job seekers in the companies.
Creating the competence profile for each job seeker.
