ICTEM results in Slovenia - 21 participants
In Slovenia ICTEM project was conducted by project owner, Kadis. ICTEM took place in Ljubljana in cooperation with Zavod RS za zaposlovanje, Urad za delo Ljubljana, where two groups of participants were made and sent into training.Quantitative results
- 10 participants found regular jobs, most of them in catering (cook's assistant, cook), but also as clercs and in industry.
- 1 participant started practical work in a shop with possibility of full time regular employment.
- 2 participants found temporary job
- 15 of 21 participants were invited to at least one work test with possibility of regular employment
- 3 participants entered formal education (one participant was enrolled before entering ICTEM):
- formal education to finish primary school
- 3-year vocational training (medical assistant)
- 3-year vocational training (administrator)
- 4 participants finished a course from Safety at Work and Minimum Hygienic Rules, thus increasing their chances to find job.
Qualitative results:
- Participants developed and improved
- Skills of seeking, evaluation and interpretation of information on education, training and employment.
- Skills in job seeking, maintaining and changing
- Awareness of themselves and their advantages
- Participants recognised:
- the importance of positive self image
- the importance of personal growth and development
- the need for positive attitude to work and learning
- the importance of skills and knowledge attained in an informal ways
- re-establishment of social networks
- all individuals acquired basic computer knowledge - MS Windows, Word, Internet and Email.
